I am a professional Picture Researcher and Editor with 25 years experience. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of researching new and old subject matter and bringing the project in on time and under budget. I love the creative side of picture research, utilising lateral thinking to overcome problems. If you expect your researchers merely to send out briefs to libraries and collate the incoming images, I’m afraid I’m not the researcher for you.
My background is primarily in partwork magazines, working to weekly and fortnightly deadlines and researching new subjects for development. I have worked for Eaglemoss Publications and GE Fabbri on various titles – and I have had experience of the ‘other side ’ working for Mary Evans Picture Library when needed.
